A 3 day roof restoration project in Lancaster completed today proved to be a phenomenal success, much to the delight of the retired couple who were tired of seeing their lovely 60 year old roof plagued by moss.
The steep pitch required powered access for us to safely steam clean their roof which was a spectacle to behold for neighbours, family and friends as we methodically went about our business & doing the customer proud.
If you're considering having your roof professionally cleaned, look no further than us, we'll look after you & your property.

Not our usual gig but when a sweet 90-something pensioner asked us to restore her 100+ year old bench we were more than happy to help! The bench had been painted that many times over the past century, the cast iron bench had lost its fine details hidden below uncountable layers of paint which we were able to bring back once again.
We stripped it back using 150°c high pressured water, renewed the timber & sprayed it to the best standard we could. Needless to say, the lady was very pleased with the work we done & no doubt the bench could go on to live another 100 years. ... See MoreSee Less

What do you use to walk on roof do you use roof ladders or planks to spread the weight so you don't brake all the slate's or roof tiles etc.
Rob Lampard this is what youse need to finish off. 👌
Given that moss does no harm to a roof but walking all over it and blasting it with high pressure water probably will I certainly would never have this done. Agreed, in long , hot conditions the moss can dry out and get washed into gutters when it does rain causing blockages it's worth keeping an eye on things but this 'treatment' will not increase the lifespan of a roof. It will show up any damage to the roof but if there are no existing leaks then there is no problem. As for kerb (note the correct English spelling) appeal, if your house is not up for sale then why pay out good money for something that is likely to show up leaks caused by blasting the roof at a pressure it was never designed to experience; watch the video to see them pushing water under the lap of the tiles. I also doubt the claim that it adds value to the house as most people won't pay extra just because the roof is clean. Generally moss needs something to grow on, if you watch the video you'll notice that the bulk of the moss is around the chimney which is where birds land and do their business, on other roofs moss can be caused by overhanging trees keeping the roof moist and providing an environment for the spores to grow. Lesson over.
